Nostalgic.

Summer escapades in lovely Loma Linda, CA.

Where as young pubescent & unlicensed adolescents, we’d have our parents drop us off at the heart of Loma Linda (or more specifically, what we considered to be the heart of Loma Linda). Fill up & load up some water balloons, & embark on water balloon assaults on unsuspecting friends. & often times their houses were included in the casualties. Those were simple times. Not a worry in the world. If anything, it consisted of what the heck we were going to eat upon arriving home. & staying up, in the fear of missing anything.

That was once deemed important. Then.

Suddenly was reminded of the time we threw water balloons over the cement wall at another friend’s backyard pool party assuming that the people we’d hit would already be wet— and then finding out after our scheme [and after getting caught] that it was the wrong house.. and neither was it a pool party.
